Founded in Italy in 1975, it is a leading brand in the field of outdoor hiking boot production, and has won international brand reputation for its fashionable design/excellent production
SOLO was born in Italy and is at the forefront of innovation in outdoor hiking shoes. Since the company's inception in 1975, Asolo has continued to innovate its products, and in the process has developed industry standards
Since its inception in 1975, Asolo has won the praise of many mountaineers for its excellent production, and over the past 20 years, Asolo has continued to make breakthroughs in the design and production of hiking shoes, many of which have led the development of hiking shoes.
For more than 20 years, ASOLO has been at the forefront of innovation in outdoor hiking shoes. Since its inception in 1975, ASOLO has been committed to constantly innovating its products, especially through the creation of a range of products such as alpine boots, hiking boots, adventure tourism and mountain sports shoes, which have led to the creation of industry standards.
From 1975, when SCOUT was first introduced, a hiking shoe made from nylon fabric and leather, to 1998, when OUTLAST was incorporated into outdoor hiking shoes, ASOLO's technology has been at the forefront of outdoor hiking shoes.
Launched in 1981, Asoflex® was ASOLO's first innovation in sole support technology. The stamped synthetic insole is tightly integrated with the sole, improving the stability of the sole support and providing the best protection for the toes.
In 1982, ASOLO developed the AFS (Asoframe® System) midsole and applied it to the Alpine hiking boot series. Combining carbon fibre and Kevlar, it is shot molded in a single step, combining the midsole, heel and toe of the shoe into a single unit, combining sturdy, lightweight and comfortable. Adjusting the ratio of raw materials can make them different in bending strength and torsionality, so that they can be used in different types of alpine boots or Alpine hiking boots. In 1987, the Asoframe System 101 received the "Golden Compass" award from the European Industrial Design Association.
Launched in 1994, the patented design of the SYNERJECTION and the quick-lacing buckle put ASOLO once again at the forefront of innovators. The SYNERJECTION process breaks the previous method of stitching or gluing, and the plastic material is embedded in the special waterproof and breathable fibers and leather and combined, reducing the seams, it can better insulate the heat and improve the waterproof performance of the shoe.
When the laces are tightened, the quick-tie buckle is designed to reduce friction and wear on the laces, protecting them better and making them easier to tighten with minimal force.
ASOLO's outstanding stabilization system is another example of its technological leadership. The system, which is used in GLOBALINE-style shoes, is made of polyurethane elastomer and laminated on the Asoframe, which not only provides even ankle support, but also prevents lateral sagging. Since its launch in 1996, the design has won three major awards: the "Safety and Protection Award" at the Shamuni Exhibition, the prestigious "British Trekker Award" from the prestigious magazine, and the "Best Hiking Shoe of the Year" award from the prestigious BACKPACKER magazine.
ASOLO's vision is also reflected in its breakthrough in the selection of materials. In 1984, ASOLO pioneered the use of waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX aerospace materials and a rugged, abrasion-resistant VIBRAM outsole. IN 1998, ASOLO ALSO USED OUTLAST'S® INSULATION ON ITS NORTH MOUNTAINEERING HIKING BOOTS. The material permanently maintains a comfortable temperature, keeping the temperature inside the boot within a suitable range.
In 1999, ASOLO relaunched its state-of-the-art plastic alpine boots, the AFS 8000 and the AFS EVOLUTION. Not only do they continue ASOLO's perfect workmanship, but they also use new insulation materials such as THINSULATE, and their excellent technical content has established ASOLO's position as the leading mountain boot brand among many hiking boot brands.
With the boom of mountaineering in the Alps, in 2003 ASOLO designed and developed the leather hiking boot SUMMIT based on the original ANNAPURNA. The upper is made of soft, water-repellent leather and high-tech polyamide fibers, which make the ankle movement more flexible and comfortable. The outer edges are completely covered with a PU coating to increase abrasion resistance. WITH 150 GRAMS OF THINSULATE INSULATION (PATENTED BY 3M), THE LINING IS ENOUGH TO HANDLE THE HARSHEST CONDITIONS DURING MOUNTAINEERING. The midsole of the sole is molded from carbon fiber and Kevlar (a strong and lightweight synthetic fiber) in a single step using patented technology (ASOFRAME) to maintain the firmness of the sole and prevent deformation, while providing a slight flex at the toe for better walking. The lacing of hiking boots is undoubtedly the most important link, and the lacing of the SUMMIT is easy to adjust, but also firm and will not fall apart when fastened. The SUMMIT weighs less than any other hiking boot without sacrificing its superior performance. SUMMIT can be used in a wide range of activities such as mountaineering and ice climbing in the Alps.
