Shanghai Gas was founded in 1865. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Shanghai city gas has been continuously developed and expanded, and in the 90s of the last century, the town was fully gasified. In 1999, the East China Sea natural gas entered Shanghai, opening a new era of Shanghai's natural gas development, with the west-to-east gas transmission, imported LNG, Sichuan-to-East gas and other natural gas sources into Shanghai, by the end of the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, Shanghai is expected to achieve full natural gas pipeline gas.
