Maxim's Group is the largest and most diversified quality food and beverage group in Hong Kong, with more than 70 brands and more than 600 outlets. It has a number of Cantonese cuisine brands such as Jade Xuan, Yi Cui Xuan, August Flower and August Xuan, as well as catering brands that make Chaojiangchun, Beijing, Sichuan, Shanghai and Hunan cuisine, including Chaojiang Chun, Chaoting, Beijing Building, Magnolia, America-China Duck, Chuanhuaiju and The Pond. Since the 80s of the last century, Maxim's has established the first Sino-foreign joint venture company in New China, and its airline catering business still provides services to airports in 11 cities in mainland China. Maxim's Palace is one of the aces of the morning tea restaurant.

The decoration of Maxim's Palace is generous and decent, with open ceilings and a transparent and bright hall, just like a modern young restaurant. Sesame cake is rarely eaten outside Hong Kong, Maxim's sesame cake is black and white, the shape is a bit like a mille-feuille cake, the black is sesame cake, and the white layer is coconut milk cake, which is very soft and easy to break, and the entrance is smooth and delicious, and the sesame flavor is strong. Sibao Slippery Chicken Tie can only be eaten in Fengcheng Restaurant, Lu Yu Teahouse, Lianxianglou and other time-honored restaurants, this dim sum is very special, the tofu skin contains pork skin, chicken, luncheon meat and shiitake mushrooms, the filling is full and rich.

Maxim's food is not limited to the inherent varieties on the menu, what is available on the day, written on the trolley with a small tin label. Dim sum such as steamed duck paw with taro, melon with conpoy, laver rolls with flowers and white fungus dumplings are extremely rare in the mainland, but they are dizzying at Maxim's Palace. Occasionally, the chef will come out of the kitchen and sell sweet soups such as mango sago pudding from the table to the table.
