Laojie Fish Mouth is a household name in Changsha, and there is even a saying that "Laojie Fish Mouth is considered to Changsha", which shows its high status in the hearts of the locals. The first store of Laojie Yuzui originated in 2004 at the entrance of Chaozong Laojie, and has opened more than a dozen directly-operated branches in Changsha, Wuhan and other places.

As the name suggests, Lao Cai fish mouth is the staple dish here. The grass carp is specially selected for the mouth of the fish, and the lip part of the fish is taken, and its meat is more fat and delicate than that of ordinary bighead carp. The fish lips are fried in oil, and then boiled with chili, pepper and other condiments to make it crispy, fresh and spicy. The bottom of the fish lips is spread with konjac, and it is slowly simmered over low heat after being served, the longer it is cooked, the stronger the flavor, whether it is fish lips, konjac, or soup, it is very good for rice.
