Marco Polo Wuhan Hotel - Institutional Reviews

Opened in 2008, Marco Polo Wuhan is part of the Hong Kong Wharf Group, which is a household name in Hong Kong, it was originally the largest cargo port in Tsim Sha Tsui, and in 1980 the Chinese ship king Bao Yugang increased shares to gain control, making it a Chinese-owned company from a British-owned foreign company.

Marco Polo's location is a plus, as it is located on the riverside, most of the rooms have a panoramic view of the river, and the remaining rooms face the Yangtze River and face the city. The hotel has a total of 356 guest rooms, and the ordinary rooms are divided into three levels: Superior, Deluxe and Premier, and are distinguished by two kinds of window views: city view and river view. The suites are divided into the Deluxe Suite and the Marco Polo Suite, the latter of which is 40 square meters larger than the former. The 29th to 34th floors of the hotel have VIP floors, and the rooms on these floors are all river-view rooms, and they can enjoy more extensive meals such as cocktails and fruit baskets. All of the above rooms are decorated in a warm and elegant style, and it is worth mentioning that the rooms are very soundproof, with sealants placed on the door frames and dust strips at the bottom of the doors, which is not common in five-star hotels. However, some rooms have a slightly poor sense of design in layout, no entrance, and a large bed when you open the door, which makes it a little inferior compared to other hotel rooms on the list.

Marco Polo Wuhan has two restaurants and a lounge, all three of which are not open 24 hours a day, making guests with more dietary requirements a little disappointed. However, the products of these three restaurants are excellent. Marco Polo Cafe features an open kitchen design and offers a wide range of dishes, including Indonesian fried rice, Hainanese chicken, Cantonese wonton noodles and more. The Comfort Lounge is the hotel's executive lounge, offering traditional English afternoon tea such as coffee in addition to a wide selection of fine wines. Shangdu Taoyuan is the hotel's main dining choice, which focuses on Cantonese cuisine and exquisite Hubei cuisine, and produces high-quality ingredients and taste. This restaurant has a lobby and 3 private VIP rooms.

For meetings, banquets and other needs, Marco Polo Wuhan can also meet them one by one. The hotel has 10 multi-functional conference halls such as the Marco Polo Ballroom, which can accommodate more than 800 people.

For business travelers, leisure and relaxation are necessary needs. For this purpose, the hotel provides a fitness center with a gymnasium, swimming pool, and sauna. MARC POLO HAS ALSO SET UP A PICCOLO KIDS CLUB, WHICH IS STAFFED BY DEDICATED STAFF FOR CHILDREN TO PLAY AND PLAY. The service of the hotel is generally acceptable, but occasionally there is a problem of a slightly longer chenk-in time.
