In 1957, Hyatt House opened at Los Angeles International Airport, the first step in Hyatt's development. Today, Hyatt has six hotel brands, more than 200 hotels and more than 90,000 rooms in more than 40 countries around the world. The five-star brands of Hyatt Group are Park Hyatt, Grand Hyatt, and Hyatt Regency, the first two are super five-star brands, and Hyatt is an ordinary five-star brand.
Hyatt Regency Wuhan Optics Valley is not the "biological child" of the group, this hotel was formerly known as Puyu Hotel, a member of the LHW of the Leading World, and the latter changed its brand. Known as "the world's largest independent luxury hotel group", The Leading Hotels of the World was founded in 1928 by Europe's top hotel owners. The Puyu Hotel is the "sister" hotel of The Puli Hotel Shanghai, which is at the top of the list of trusted five-star hotels in Shanghai. To sum up, although Hyatt Regency Wuhan Optics Valley uses the ordinary five-star brand "Hyatt" in the group, it is not bad at all in terms of hotel grade, and is even comparable to Park Hyatt and Grand Hyatt, which have a higher tonality level.
In 2015, Hyatt Regency Wuhan Optics Valley was officially opened. Because it was rebranded from the Puyu Hotel, it retains the characteristics of Puyu's simplicity and low-key but great style, so it is called "the least hyatt hotel" by Hyatt loyal users. After the acclaim of The Puli Hotel Shanghai, Australian design firm Layan Design Group once again designed Wuhan Puyu, combining modern aesthetics with ancient culture, which continues to this day after Hyatt took over. Outside, the iconic bamboo patio and jade ornaments hanging from the doorway show guests what makes it different from ordinary Hyatt, and also reveals a hint of Jingchu culture. The lobby of the Hyatt Regency is unique in that it cleverly connects the bar to the front desk, and with a 5-meter ceiling height and a top-to-ceiling bookshelf wall, it plays down the overly solemn atmosphere of the lobby and brings it closer to the hotel's early "urban paradise" positioning. The décor in the lobby showcases the hotel's attention to detail, with bronzes, jades, ancient books, calligraphy and paintings, and Chinese chairs complementing the exterior views, revealing a strong Jingchu cultural atmosphere.
Hyatt Regency Wuhan Optics Valley has a total of 323 rooms, which is slightly worse than Ruihua, with two specifications of regular rooms and suites, and the regular rooms are divided into three levels: ordinary, deluxe and regency club, with the main difference in size. However, the Regency Club here is not the usual Regency Club in Hyatt, it is just a paraphrase. These rooms are fully equipped with high-end equipment, with intelligent control of lights and curtains in the room, and the door will be opened by guests as soon as they enter. In addition to the usual five-star hotel features, Hyatt also features a separate soaking tub with a TV to elevate the guest experience. The room is mainly decorated in an elegant style, with a bronze bedside lamp, a lantern-shaped table lamp, and a tea set placed on the sofa next to the floor-to-ceiling window.
Hyatt Optics Valley is relentless in dining, with three restaurants and a bar offering a wide variety of meals and drinks. The café is located on the ground floor and offers all-day dining; Located on the second floor, the Italian restaurant Don Miano features an open kitchen and wood-fired oven serving Italian cuisine and wines. Offering space for intimate events such as parties, Fuyue 1077 has 10 private dining rooms that can accommodate up to 22 people. Like Ruihua, Hyatt's three restaurants have their own purpose and cater to different needs. Among them, the Italian restaurant Dangmiano is the most meticulous and is the best place to go when you go in threes and twos.
Optics Valley Hyatt's service follows the excellence of its predecessor, Puyu, and the waiters always keep smiling when providing services, and their attitude is very comfortable.
