ST. MOTI St. Mouti's Western Restaurant成立于2016年,开业之初便邀请了曾在知名餐厅——上海外滩18号Mr&Mrs Bund担任高级副主厨的Jackson张聪掌勺,迅速俘获大批食客关注。此外,ST. MOTI St. Mouti's Western Restaurant还是唯一入选2018黑珍珠餐厅指南的Chongqing Western Restaurant。
值得注意的,在餐厅开业初期,不少食客误认张聪为米其林三星厨师而慕名而至。实际上,米其林奖项只面向餐厅,并没有米其林厨师的说法。此外,Mr&Mrs Bund仅获得2018年米其林推介餐厅称号(指南于2017年发布),而张聪在2016年便已到ST. MOTI St. Mouti's Western Restaurant就职,所以他与米其林三星餐厅关联不大。现如今,张聪已从ST. MOTI St. Mouti's Western Restaurant离职。
Although St. Muti's Western Restaurant is the only Western restaurant in Chongqing on the Black Pearl Restaurant Guide's list, there are fewer dishes with high-end ingredients. The restaurant's signature dishes are purebred Wagyu 12 sirloin and Australian Wagyu M3 Tomahawk steak. Grade 12 sirloin (M12) is indeed rare in Chongqing, and diners need to order it at least one day in advance, which is a little inconvenient. M3 Tomahawk steak has a very prominent fibrous texture and mellow meat taste, and the price is only 898 yuan, which is cost-effective. Japanese Kobe beef M5 is the third most expensive dish in the restaurant, but the mainland began to ban the import of Japanese Kobe beef as early as 2001, and the grade of Japanese Wagyu beef is from A1 to A5 level, so the name affects the professionalism of the restaurant in the hearts of diners.
The lobby on the first floor of the restaurant is a little cluttered, which is very different from the industry norms that pursue a clean and orderly environment. There are three private rooms on the second floor, and the environmental grade has been significantly improved, with the minimum consumption of two 6-person boxes being 800 yuan, and the minimum consumption of 10-person boxes being 1200 yuan. The service charge for the lobby and private rooms is 3%.
