"Gezhi" is taken from the meaning of "Gewu and Zhizhi" in "Liji University". Gezhi Bookstore was established by Xinhua Literature for market segments, and it has been less than half a year since its official opening, but it is the most professional and complete Chinese culture bookstore in southwest China.

Gezhi Library is located on the fourth floor of the Sichuan Science and Technology Museum, and reservations are required to enter the Science and Technology Museum. Although it has not been established for a long time, Gezhi Bookstore has held many activities, for children of different ages, Gezhi Bookstore has opened Mingde Xiaohanlin Sinology class, which is divided into Go class, Chinese culture classic class and children's calligraphy class, aiming to cultivate children's interest in traditional culture. The bookstore will also carry out some folk arts and crafts classes from time to time, such as embroidery, woodwork, tie-dyeing, etc., and invite Sichuan celebrities such as Liu Shahe and Tan Jihe to the bookstore to exchange Chinese culture with readers. In addition, Gezhi Library has cooperated with the Sichuan Science and Technology Museum to set up a summer camp project, integrating the popularization of natural science and historical knowledge.
