Night Shanghai (Admiralty) - Reviews

Night Shanghai is a well-known fashionable Chinese restaurant in Hong Kong. Owned by Youyi Group, Beijing's famous 1949 Whole Duck Chicken also comes from this restaurant group. Night Shanghai's stores are located in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Taipei, with two branches in Hong Kong, located in Tsim Sha Tsui and Admiralty. In the Michelin Guide, Night Shanghai Tsim Sha Tsui was rated one star.

Night Shanghai is mainly engaged in Shanghai cuisine, and integrates Jiangsu, Zhejiang cuisine, Huaiyang cuisine, as well as Peking duck and dandan noodles. The production of night Shanghai is not low, the selection of ingredients is relatively rigorous, fresh and high-quality. The stir-fried shrimp has a light and solid taste, maintaining the original taste of river freshness, without adding unnecessary seasonings or additives. Shanghai's classic xiaolongbao is recreated here, with thin skin and fresh filling, and the soup and juice are also quite delicious, so that many diners can eat the authentic Shanghai flavor. The smoked eggs have a moderate taste, just the right amount of saltiness, and a good liquid texture. Peking duck is naturally not the home of Shanghai at night, but it is just an improved element added to cater to the preferences of Hong Kong diners, and there are many thunder points, so it is not recommended to choose. The Tsim Sha Tsui and Admiralty restaurants in Shanghai are the most popular in Tsim Sha Tsui, and the products produced by the Tsim Sha Tsui store are also considered by most diners to be higher than the Admiralty store.

The restaurant environment is full of old Shanghai atmosphere, retro and modern. The restaurant has a large spacing between the seats, so it doesn't look too crowded. The overall service environment is relatively good.
