Tap19 wants bars - business reviews

Tap19 is a craft beer restaurant that is relatively less well-known to the general public, but it is already very familiar to Shanghai craft beer insiders. Many events of the Shanghai Craft Beer Association have been held at Tap19. Instead of adopting a strategy of "mass bottled craft beer", Tap19 introduced 19 draft beers. There are many brands such as Flying Monkey, Mountain Soul, Logsden and domestic Beijing A and Taihu in the first row of wine heads. Tap19 is for slightly more experienced drinkers who want to enjoy some of the more niche, cutting-edge craft beers in a spacious and quiet setting.

Tap19 is not too large, and the décor adds some industrial elements, leaning towards an American bar, and the slightly tougher décor is neutralized by the warm yellow chandeliers on the walls and the golden craft brew in the wine glasses, which makes people relax and cozy. A row of wine heads runs across the back of the bar, and the day's drinks are written on top of it, and it's a picture that makes craft brewers haunt each other.

Compared with the more well-known Flying Monkey, the old German craft beer Alpirsbacher in Tap19 and the classic American craft beer brand Logsdon (Logsdon) are highlighted here. Of course, it's no surprise that Flying Monkey is not a good winery, and their various IPAs and lagers are also very flavorful, but Alpirsbacher and Logsdon may be a little more fresh for many friends.

Germany has a long tradition of beer brewing, and paradoxically, most people are in a blind pursuit of German craft beer for various reasons, while at the same time ignoring many classic German beers, which is regrettable. Alpirsbacher Pilsner has a unique aroma of hops and malt and, thanks to the local water quality, has a bitter and smooth taste; At the same time, low-temperature aging brings a strong killing taste. When you take a sip, it will definitely bring you a flavor that you don't usually find in industrial beers. The predecessor of industrial beer was Pilsner, but many industrial breweries added a large number of auxiliary materials such as corn and rice to cater to the public and reduce costs, and gradually reduced its taste, and it is not an exaggeration to call it "water beer".

Most of Logsden's wines are made in Farmhouse with native American ingredients, most notably the Sesson series, which belongs to Farmhouse Ale. Cesson is a type of beer from Belgium, with a thin body, easy to eat, and a crisp backlash, showing the temperament of working people; At the same time, it will be slightly sour, mainly due to the wild yeast and bacteria that Belgian beers like to add. The Cesson of Logosden also produces a distinctive lemon fruit and spicy aroma due to the addition of selected yeasts, which are neutralized by hops and malt, and are medium in body and killing, making them very easy to drink. In contrast, Killy is infused with African spices and Oregon hops, and has a banana, vanilla flavor that is light, creamy and refreshing.
