Founded in 1956, Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine is the only municipal comprehensive and modern tertiary first-class traditional Chinese medicine hospital in Beijing.

The Department of Dermatology and Venereology of the hospital was founded in 1956 by Mr. Zhao Bingnan, a well-known expert in Chinese medicine dermatology surgery, and is a national key clinical specialty, the first batch of key specialties and key disciplines of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
