Beijing Wanlong Bayi Ski Resort - Agency Reviews

Which well-known ski resort is closest to downtown Beijing? The answer is likely to be Beijing Wanlong Bayi Ski Resort. The ski resort is invested and built by Hollyland Enterprise Investment Management Co., Ltd., and is a sibling ski resort with the famous Wanlong Ski Resort.

Wanlong Bayi Ski Resort is located in the Bayi Shooting Range Yard of Changxindian, Fengtai District, covering an area of about 300 acres, and the scale is not large. Officially, it is the only ski resort in Beijing that can rely on the subway as a means of transportation. In fact, tourists do not have a direct access to the ski resort through the subway station, and there is still a short distance after exiting the subway.

The ski resort basically relies on artificial snowmaking. Wanlong Bayi has imported 10 snow guns and 4 snow compactors from Canada and Japan. Since the snow area is not large, about 120,000 square meters, these machines are more than enough to support snowmaking and maintenance work.

At present, Wanlong Bayi Ski Resort has 2 beginner slopes, 2 intermediate trails, 1 advanced trail, 1 snowboard practice trail, 1 snow tubing trail and 1 free instructor learning trail. In general, it is more suitable for skiing. It's a pity that there are no facilities such as a difficult wild snow park. Although the place is not large, Wanlong Bayi is still equipped with 5 sets of snow magic carpets, 2 four-person chairlifts, and a total carrying capacity of 5,600 people/hour, which is a relatively excellent performance in Beijing. Queues for the cable car are shorter than most ski resorts in Beijing.

Wanlong Bayi offers night skiing services, and many citizens come to relax after work. The official snow grooming maintenance will be carried out every night before the opening of the night course to ensure that visitors have a skiing experience. There are more than 1,000 high-power professional lighting towers in the ski resort, and more than 1,000 professional lamps and laser spotlights illuminate each ski slope, with a good degree of clarity. The excellent geographical location of Wanlong Bayi does provide convenience for many citizens. In addition to skiing, visitors can also experience the shooting fun in the Bayi Shooting Range Yard.

The three-storey multi-functional hall has a usable area of more than 7,800 square meters, with cashier, leasing, catering, entertainment, shopping and other functions. Wanlong Bayi provides more than 2,000 sets of skis, more than 500 sets of children's skis and more than 300 sets of snowboards for rent. Due to the regular maintenance and renewal of ski equipment, tourists can hardly find equipment that is too old. There is no clutter in the hall, and the environment is clean enough to be much better than many ski resorts. When visitors change their snowsuits and snowshoes, the staff will come and offer to help. It should be noted that the lockers are small, and visitors should bring as few belongings as possible.

The ski school has more than 30 ski instructors, all of whom come from sports schools. The official claim is that before the opening every year, coaches will be sent to Hebei Wanlong Resort Paradise to receive foreign ski instructor system teaching and training. Visitors can simply choose an instructor from the ski hall. Ski instructors lead in order, and they are enthusiastic about the needs of the visitors without being too obsessed. If you need to appoint a coach, you can register at the front desk. Ski training is clearly marked and can be paid by mobile phone.

As for the food, Wanlong Bayi only has a fast food restaurant that can accommodate more than 600 people, on the second floor of the service hall, the environment is average, and the taste is not remarkable, but the price is not cheap. In addition, there is a convenience supermarket on the first floor of the service hall, so you can buy a few things to fill your stomach.
