Beijing Jundu Mountain Ski Resort is located at the foot of Jundu Mountain in Changping District, adjacent to Xiaotangshan Hot Spring Resort to the east. Founded in 2003, the ski resort covers an area of nearly 2,000 acres and is one of the closest large-scale ski resorts to the city. Among them, the ski resort includes 140,000 square meters of snow area and more than 5,000 square meters of comprehensive service facilities.
There are not many ski trails in Jundu Mountain Ski Resort, but fortunately, they are covered by junior high and high levels. There are a total of 7 courses in the ski resort, of which No. 1 and No. 2 are beginner courses with a length of about 380 meters. However, the average slope of 12% (6.89°) is 2% higher than that of 10% (5.74°) of 1, and the width of 45 meters is 5 meters narrower than that of No. 1. These two courses are equipped with 3 snow magic carpets to use, which is friendly enough for beginners. Runs 3 and 4 are intermediate runs with a length of 530 meters, a width of 35 meters and an average slope of 18% (10.37°), while the latter is 380 meters long, 40 meters wide and an average slope of 16% (9.21°). There is a chairlift on the 3rd and 4th slopes. Since the No. 4 slope is also equipped with facilities such as freestyle jumping, it is very popular, and the official has also set up a large tow to relieve the pressure of transportation. At the junction of No. 3 and No. 4, there is an 88-meter-long, 30-meter-wide intermediate ski training course with an average gradient of 25%. Route 6 is located in the teaching area and is a beginner ski training course.
As for Route 7, it is the symbol of Jundu Mountain Ski Resort, which attracts skiers the most. The length of 1,200 meters alone may not be much, but with an average gradient of 35% (20.49°), it is quite impressive. It is worth noting that the middle section of Route 7 is shared with the Intermediate Road, and the last section is shared with the Beginner Road, and the actual length should be about 800 meters. The entire No. 7 road is in the shape of a crescent moon, and the slope conditions are distributed according to "steep → gentle→ sharp bends→ extremely steep → steep → gentle", and the actual average slope is far more than 35%. Officially, Route 7 is one of the most difficult high-level slopes in China. If you're a seasoned skier, trail 7 is definitely worth a try. Due to the difficulty of the course, the number of people on the course is much smaller than that of the intermediate and intermediate courses, and it is often not necessary to queue for too long to get up the chairlift.
The ski hall of Jundu Mountain Ski Resort is a little smaller than that of Nanshan, and there are many brands of ski equipment stores in it. For some tourists who pursue high-end service, Jundushan Ski Resort has set up a 64-square-meter business VIP room in the ski hall that can accommodate 25 people. The décor of the room is acceptable, suitable for business meetings and other events. It is worth mentioning that VIP room guests can rent international brand skis at the regular snowboard rental rate.
Jundu Mountain Ski Resort has set up BMW Jundu Mountain Ski School, and hired a number of professional athletes who have won rankings in large-scale competitions at home and abroad as coaches. It has to be said that Jundu Mountain Ski Resort has a higher average level of service. After entering the ski resort, most of the instructors are very friendly and do not take the initiative to sell too hard. In the process of learning, if a student falls, the coach will also take the initiative to help him get up. In addition, there are many safety officers on the ski slopes, and the safety of each visitor is guaranteed. Generally, if a tourist falls, the coach or safety officer next to you will most likely help you up. For some tourists who make frequent mistakes on the slopes, most of the staff of Jundu Mountain will not be as cynical as ordinary ski resorts. For some novice skiers, the staff of Jundu Mountain will also help lift the board, tie shoes and so on.
Jundu Mountain Ski Resort also offers night skiing. At night, a high-powered professional lighting system illuminates every corner of the ski resort, making it feel as if it were shrouded in a sea of gold. Tourists who want to ski and relax after work should not miss it, and the fee of 100 yuan is also very affordable.
Catering service is also a major service item of Jundu Mountain Ski Resort. Jundu Mountain Wild Meat Restaurant for ordinary users, Deer Jewelry in VIP dining area, fast food restaurant, Mark's Bar, and BMW Aries Cafe provide a variety of food and drink, full of sincerity. It's just that all the restaurants of Jundu Ski Resort, like Nanshan Ski Resort, are only suitable for unpicky diners.
Jundu Mountain Ski Resort has four mountain villas to stay in, namely Spartanburg, St. Petersburg, Swan Lake Castle, and Igorburg, all of which are quite good. There is also a mountain habitat multi-purpose hall in the villa area, which is suitable for team building activities and so on. For tourists who are shy in their pockets, the Singularity Youth Hostel in the Jundu Ski Resort is worth considering, but the attitude of the hostel service staff is average, and the environment and facilities need to be improved.
