Badachu Park - Institutional Reviews

Badachu Park is located in the south of Xishan Forest Park in Beijing, and is named after the eight ancient Buddhist temples in the scenic area. At the same time, the scenic spot also has abundant vegetation resources, becoming an excellent place to climb and enjoy the scenery in Beijing, and is the first batch of key cultural relics protection units in Beijing and a national 4A-level scenic spot. The eight ancient temples in the scenic area are Lingguang Temple, Chang'an Temple, Sanshan Nunnery, Dabei Temple, Longquan Temple, Xiangjie Temple, Baozhu Cave and Zhengguo Temple. The landscape of each treasure temple is different, and some scenic spots appear from time to time along the way, giving people unexpected joy. The two Lingguang Temples are the largest temples in the park, and the 11th century Buddha Spiritual Tooth Relic is enshrined in the north courtyard of the temple, attracting countless Buddhist believers to worship here; There are eighteen Arhat statues carved in the Dabei Temple everywhere, which is also an area for tourists to rest; The seven Baozhu Caves are the highest places in the park, and the experience of this bird's-eye view is excellent. In addition to the "Eight Brakes", the "Twelve Scenes" are also one of the reasons why the Badachu Park is famous in the capital. These 12 scenes are respectively the top overlook, the spring mountain apricot forest, the green peak cloud break, the sunset of Lu Shi, the sound of smoke and rain, the mountain torrent after the rain, the water valley flowing spring, the high forest dawn, the night moon of the five bridges, the red leaves in late autumn, the tiger peak stacked green, the mountains and clear snow. The twelve views span the four seasons, and although a few of them are a bit far-fetched, the "late autumn foliage" scenery is by no means in vain. Every year in mid-to-late October, Badachu Park becomes one of the most popular autumn foliage viewing areas in Beijing. In late autumn, more than 100,000 maple trees in the park put on a costume show, and the fiery red color all over the mountains brings a little warmth to the gradually cold city of Beijing. If you have enough foot strength, it is recommended to climb the seventh jewel cave on the highest point in the park, and look down from the top of the mountain, as if you are in a sea of red, and a breeze can set off the long-lasting red waves, as if you are in a magical world. The red leaves avenue in front of the sixth Xiangjie Temple is lined with trees on both sides, making it a great place to take close-up shots, and photographers should not miss it. Another way to play is to take the cable car in Badachu Park, where the cable car is not a heartbeat, but a novel experience of wandering among the autumn leaves, intertwined with light and shadow. Opening hours: March 16-April 15, September 1-November 15: 6:00-18:30, April 16-August 31: 6:00-19:00, November 16-March 15: 6:00-18:00
