Banker coffee originated in Taiwan, which is the best place to develop specialty coffee in China, and has also brought specialty coffee to many cities in China. There is a branch in Guangzhou Banker Coffee, the owner is a Taiwanese resident in Guangzhou, and the store is opposite Yuyuan Coffee.
Banker Coffee roasts its own coffee beans, and green beans are sourced from the company's coffee estates around the country. Its green beans are abundant and can be found here from all major producing regions, but this is not a unique feature of Bank, which is characterized by master beans. These master beans are sourced from well-known coffee roasters in China, including Edwin and Dixon from Hong Kong, Lai Yuquan and Scott from Taiwan, and Cha Cha from Shantou. Each master has more than three types of beans that can be tasted here.
Although the owner is based in Guangzhou, he only comes to the shop two or three times a week, and most of the time is run by three young baristas. Master beans are mostly moderately shallow roasted, and these beans, especially shallow roasted beans, are particularly difficult to control and difficult to extract. These three young baristas also lack experience and are unable to bring out the flavor of these master beans perfectly, so it is recommended to taste these master beans while the owner is in the shop.
Banker Coffee has two floors, and although you can't communicate with the barista on the second floor, you can overlook the coffee-making process, which is another kind of enjoyment. In addition, Bank will also hold amateur hand punching competitions, bean tasting sessions and other activities, in which you can meet many masters.
