Hui Impression Restaurant is a private restaurant run by Lu'an people, the chefs are all from Anhui, and the dishes are mainly from the Dabie Mountains.
Most of the dishes in Dabie Mountain are game and earthy, and it takes a long time for the chef to cook the game dishes, so most diners book the dishes in advance. Dried black pork from Dabie Mountain bamboo shoots is the main dish of their family, black pork is airlifted from Dabie Mountain, the meat is firm and delicate, the meat taste is very mellow, and the dried bamboo shoots are particularly absorbent in oil and water, and will absorb the full aroma of pork during the firing process, which is an excellent meal. Other recommended main dishes include Chijang Knot Roasted Pork, Old Hen Soup Stir-fried Rice, Mountain Flour Round Roasted Pork, and Stinky Mandarin Fish. I don't recommend their pot chicken, although the chicken is OK, but the paste cake is really not delicious, it may be that the alkali is not enough, and it tastes sour.
Since most of the people who come to this restaurant to eat are Anhui villagers, and they are all regular customers, it is best to order the dishes one day in advance. In terms of service, the hostess is hands-on and friendly, but when there are many people, it will be too busy. There are 5 private dining rooms that can accommodate up to 20 people. The dining environment is spacious and clean, there is a parking space at the door, but the location is not very good, and the price is expensive. For friends who love Hui cuisine, it is not recommended to make a special trip to eat, and you can try it when you pass by.
