Bauhinia Club is a Chaocai club on the shore of Xiangmi Lake, located at the southwest end of Xiangmi Lake Resort. The Bauhinia Club specializes in Teochew cuisine, with a small amount of Western food, and the presentation and decoration of the dishes are carefully considered, which is rare for the Teochew cuisine that has always been widely presented. Teochew people call puffer fish "good fish", which is also the signature of the Bauhinia Society, and the soup is served on a plate of soup from person to person. The way it deals with the puffer fish is no different from the classic Chaoshan folk technique, which is boiled with celery, ginger, chili pepper and sour plum, the soup is rich, the umami is very strong, and the meat is also very tender and delicious. However, the tide-style method of cooking good fish, very particular about the cooking heat, the proper heat will make the meat tender and fresh, the heat is slightly older, the taste is the same as chewing wax, and the Bauhinia Club also obviously has the problem of improper control of the heat, and the stability of the production is not high.

The soup dishes of the Bauhinia Club are more outstanding. The teapot abalone and sea cucumber soup is quite popular among diners, the abalone and sea cucumber are mixed into the same cup, the abalone is tender, the sea cucumber is glutinous, and the soup is very delicious. The box on the first floor of the waterside has a small platform, covered by bamboo bushes, with high privacy, and the minimum consumption is 4,000 yuan. Compared with other Teochew restaurants, although the production of Bauhinia Club is not faulty, it is not particularly outstanding, and the price of Bauhinia Club is much higher than that of ordinary Teochew restaurants, so it is not cost-effective. Fortunately, in terms of environment and service, the Bauhinia Club has full confidence, and in general, it can be regarded as a good place for business banquets for those who like light food and have higher requirements for the environment.
