Terrence and Bebio are both readily available foreign oil paint brands in China, and Terrence has been expanding its product line since its inception in 1899, establishing offices around the world, and currently has no less than 10 brands. After being acquired by Sakura in Japan in 1991, the distribution network has spread to more than 100 countries around the world, including the Middle East, Africa and other regions.

Terrence's Rembrandt series of artist-grade oil paints has been in production since 1904 with standard media oils. The pigments it selects are in line with the positioning of a multinational enterprise, all of which can last for more than 100 years, and the concentration is enough to satisfy the general user. However, under the guidance of Terrence's large-scale business policy, Rembrandt supplemented the color spectrum with more mixed colors, and only 58 of the 120 colors were made of a single pigment, which was generally selected as a cheap substitute color for other brands, and 40ml was sold for 55-200 yuan.

Van Gogh's oil paints are Rembrandt's downgraded pigments, with only 47 of the 66 colors achieving the highest 3-star durability, and 19 colors with only 2-star durability. Its concentration is not as high as Rembrandt, by adjusting the proportion of pigments to make all colors have a uniform thickness and gloss, it is a good choice for entry, 40ml is sold for about 25-55 yuan.
