In 1995, Shengxiang introduced laminate flooring to China through OEM, and today, the share of laminate flooring in the domestic flooring market has exceeded 50%.

As a pioneer in the industry, after more than 20 years of development, Shengxiang has gradually grown into the largest flooring manufacturer in China, with more than 3,000 stores, annual revenue of about 5 billion yuan, and tens of millions of square meters of flooring sales. Starting with laminate flooring, Icon is also recognized as a first-class brand in this category.

The base material of laminate flooring is fiberboard, a kind of man-made board with a high use rate, which has to mention Daya, which has the same origin as the holy icon. As the two fist brands of Daya Shengxiang, Shengxiang is well-known for its flooring, and Daya is one of the largest manufacturers of wood-based panels in China, and its products are widely used in home improvement products, including wardrobes and cabinets, as well as laminate flooring.

Although Shengxiang's F4 star products focus on reducing formaldehyde emissions and have good performance in random inspections, they do not have JIS official certification, which is different from Japan's local F4 star products.

In terms of product performance, most of the durability grades of Shengxiang's laminate flooring are household I., a very mainstream grade. The national standard divides laminate flooring into household grade II., household grade I and commercial grade, and the wear resistance is improved in turn, and sometimes this parameter is also expressed by the number of wear-resistant revolutions, which correspond to 4000 rpm, 6000 rpm and 9000 rpm respectively. In the general household environment, 6000 rpm is sufficient, and the pursuit of higher parameters is of limited significance.

The price of the laminate flooring of the icon ranges from 100 yuan to more than 200 yuan, and there are many sizes and colors. The mainstream products of Shengxiang are the real wood series (PY6, PY9, PK7), the standard household level, the color selection space is very large, and the price will generally not exceed 200 yuan per square meter. The price of the basic Borui (BR) series is usually around 100 yuan, but this series has a nominal formaldehyde emission of E1, which does not belong to the F4 star products of Shengxiang, and some early models only have household II. durability, and there are also some thinner 8mm models.

Lower wear resistance is not a deliberate reduction by the manufacturer, because there are some concave and convex lines on the surface, the protruding part is bound to be more likely to be worn, but in any case, it is an indisputable fact that the "antique" laminate floor is less wear-resistant, and it is absolutely necessary to pay attention to the wear-resistant parameter of "non-flat" when purchasing.

In the more chaotic decoration market, flooring products are more prone to disputes, the icon is no exception, the number of major brand stores, the constraints on dealers are not large, it is inevitable that there will be poor after-sales, sales accessories, and even shoddy and other market chaos. In response to this problem, users can only do more homework, investigate whether the dealer is reliable in advance, and indicate the merchant's commitment in the purchase contract, such as product grade, installation and after-sales, etc.
