After the correct use, Fulion can effectively prevent fleas, ticks, lice and other ectoparasites, because it also has a repellent effect on mosquitoes, it can effectively reduce the risk of pet heartworm infection, but the effect on ear mites, nasal mites and other mite parasites is poor.
 
Among non-predronic anthelmintic drugs, Merial has always been one of the best. When it comes to preventing and killing internal parasites, Merial's products are relatively weak. The former targets heartworms, roundworms and hookworms but is ineffective against tapeworms, and the latter is a newly marketed oral external anthelmintic drug that is effective against fleas and ticks, but cannot treat internal parasites. The new drug, Nicredible, was only launched in the Chinese market in 2017, and its active ingredient is aformana, which is better than Fulian in terms of drug safety. Because it is made into an oral medicine, after the dog ingests Nixin, the owner can hug or pet it immediately, and bathing will not affect the efficacy of the drug. According to the evaluation of foreign pet owners, Nixin is slightly more irritating to the intestines, and some pets have obvious vomiting reactions after eating, so it is recommended to use it under the guidance of veterinarians according to the actual situation of pets.
 
Pet deworming is a long-term preventive work, which should be driven every month and checked every six months. The anthelmintic drugs of Merial such as Frien and other Merial have different pest spectrums and need to be used together, and the effective protection period is about one month. For dogs and other active pets, it is inevitable that they will still be contaminated with parasites during activities, rather than struggling with how to choose with deworming drugs, it is better to carefully check whether there are flea and tick bites after each outdoor activity, and remove them in time, which is a more effective means of protection.
