Capilano How about Cammela Honey brand introduction

One of the world's top five honey producers, Kangmila is also Australia's largest honey company, Australia's only honey company with a scientific laboratory, in Australia's large supermarkets and convenience stores, Kangmelle honey can be seen everywhere, its status is equivalent to China's Guanshengyuan.

Unlike Comvita, Comvita's honey focus is still on the local market, and although it produces and packages more than 45,000 tonnes of honey annually and sells it to more than 30 countries and regions around the world, more than 80% of its revenue comes from Australia. However, in recent years, Camilla's export earnings have been increasing, especially in Asia.

In its early days, Cammela was just a beekeepers' cooperative, and it still maintains close contact with honey producers to ensure the safety of the honey source. The hundreds of honey suppliers that can range in size from business-loving beekeepers with only 100 hives to medium-sized producers with 600 to 700 hives and large producers with more than 5,000 hives.

As its profile grew, Camilla expanded and now has 3 factories, with its head office and main packing plant in Brisbane and the others in Perth and Maryborough. Most of the packaging of Kangmela honey is inverted extruded, which is easy to use. Although there are not many products in the company, the high price-performance ratio is a key factor in its popularity.

Camilla's honeys include eucalyptus honey, orange blossom honey, manuka honey and organic honey, with yellow eucalyptus honey and red eucalyptus honey being the most distinctive. Eucalyptus trees are abundant in Australia, and the trees have a limited flowering time each year, so the beekeepers of Cammela move the hives according to the flowering cycle of the trees, so that the harvest is abundant during the main production season. Kangmele's yellow eucalyptus honey is golden in color, fragrant in smell, sweet in taste, and the price of 250g bottles is 100 yuan. Red eucalyptus honey is amber in color, has a cinnamon caramel flavor in the mouth, and has a low sweetness. After being mixed with water, the honey is smooth and delicate, and the price of 250g bottles is 99 yuan.

Due to Australia's proximity to New Zealand, Manuka honey is also the main source of honey, and the brands are also very close in terms of processing technology and manufacturing level. Kangmila's Manuka Honey 250g costs 129 yuan, which is much cheaper than Comvita, if you don't pursue a high-end brand or have a limited budget, friends who like Manuka honey taste can consider this one. The bees foraging in the wild forest reserves in the southwest and the desert areas of Western Australia produce organic honey for Kangmeile, and the price of 500g is 68 yuan.

In early 2016, the international academic journal Food Additives and Contaminants published a paper saying that "almost all Australian honey contains the toxic substance pyrrolizidine alkaloids (PA)", and then FSANZ put forward a strong refutation of the scientific validity of this report. Although there is still debate as to whether Australian honey is actually harmful to human health, it is conservative and not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women to consume Cammela and other Australian brands of honey, as honey itself does not have particularly significant health benefits for human health.
