If you're a fan of round-framed frames, or have a penchant for vintage style, then Savile Row from the UK won't disappoint.
Handmade eyewear brand Savile Row has a history of 100 years, originally founded in 1898 as a German brand, moved to London, England in the 30s of the last century, and then its frames are handmade in the United Kingdom, and is currently the only company in the United Kingdom that produces precious metal glasses by hand.
Savile Row's frames are made of precious metals and can be divided into two categories: 18K White Gold Classic and 18K Plate Yellow Gold Combination. Each series can choose the size of the lens and the length of the temple, and there are a variety of styles, with a single set of prices around $400-600. Available only in Europe, it can be ordered directly from our London factory.
Savile Row's frames are retro from the inside out, and they still use antique tools and machines from Germany at the time, with the same craftsman performing more than 100 steps alone. Modernly made frames with a touch of detail that resembles antique handmade glasses, Savile Row is a collector's item for those who want to look for vintage frames.
Interestingly, Savile Row happens to have the same name as Savile Row, the world-famous street for high-end tailoring. In terms of "customization", Savile Row frames are also just right, from the shape of the rim, the length of the temples, the bridge of the nose bridge, the foot covers, etc., to provide a variety of customization options, is one of the few precious metal glasses that can take into account comfort and adjustability.
Savile Row, whose materials and craftsmanship are impeccable, is self-evident in the UK, and many celebrities and politicians wear it to make it even more attractive. The vintage Harry Potter glasses in the series were from Savile Row's Warwick, which sparked the trend of round frames, and John Lennon often wore them. For those who prefer a metal vintage frame style, Savile Row is definitely worth the investment.
