Unlike most Chinese brands that use coatings to protect against ultraviolet rays, clear lenses from foreign brands such as Zeiss and TAG Heuer already have UV protection on the substrate. The Radiant Vision series adds color-changing technology on the basis of transparent lenses, which will switch between transparent and gray with the intensity of ultraviolet rays in the environment, which is suitable for people who often go in and out of the room and have eyes that are sensitive to light.
Due to the high pricing in China, ZEISS's overall sales volume has long been lower than that of Essilor. The competition between the two is mainly concentrated in products below the mid-range price of 3,000 yuan. From the point of view of cost performance, it is more cost-effective to choose Essilor at a price of less than 3,000 yuan, and Zeiss's advantage is reflected in the customized lenses above the 3D vPro series, although the price is relatively high, but with precision technology and the appropriate matching that cannot be achieved by stock films, it is still the first choice for customized professional lenses with outstanding performance.
