FIG is the abbreviation of General Electric Brown Beauweri of Sweden, which was formed in 1988 by the merger of General Electric Company of Sweden (ASEA) and Brown Beauwery AG of Switzerland (BBC) and is a leading manufacturer of power and automation technology.
 
In the past 100 years, FIG has developed from a single miniature circuit breaker product to a full range of line protection products with a complete range, variety and adaptability to different occasions, creating many industry firsts. In 1957, the invention of hammer trip current limiting technology made it possible to miniaturize and have a high breaking capacity, and in 1978, the first analogized leakage protection switch in history was introduced.
 
FIG has a wide range of product lines, consisting of power grids, electrical products, robotics and motion control, industrial automation four major businesses, of which the electrical products business accounted for 28% in 2017, only 1% less than the first-ranked power grid business, revenue of up to 10 billion US dollars, and stable development, is FIG's core business, in the high-end field of households, only FIG can compete with Schneider.
 
Among FIG's electrical products, medium and low voltage electrical equipment accounts for the highest proportion, including power transformers, distribution transformers, switchgears, circuit breakers, switch sockets and other categories, with a wide range of applications, covering power, industrial and commercial and civil building power distribution systems, as well as various automation equipment and large-scale infrastructure.
 
The upgrade process of FIG's circuit breaker series in China is from S250S to S260 to S200. The S200 series circuit breakers have unmatched coverage of previous products, can meet the needs of 90% of customers, product trip characteristics cover all curves from B to Z, breaking capacity ranging from 6-25kA, and has extremely high resistance and protection to short-circuit currents, which can cover a variety of applications from conventional electrical protection to precision semiconductor electronic equipment protection. Moreover, the S200 series products innovatively adopt the IPXXB protection level design, which can ensure zero contact between the operator and the live conductor part during wiring, and eliminate the possibility of electric shock.
 
At present, the most common SH200 on the market is actually a branch of S200, mainly for the residential power distribution market, including SH200 air switch and GSH200 leakage protection switch. SH200 removes some mechanisms that can add accessories on the basis of S200, simplifies the internal structure, and reduces the cost of the product itself, because the general household circuit breaker does not need to add accessory functions.
 
SH200 series has 1P/1P N/2P/3P/4P a total of 5 poles to choose from, the rated current level covers a total of 8 gears from 10A to 63A, to meet the needs of all circuits of ordinary families, the operation of short-circuit breaking capacity of 6kA, current limit level 3, electrical life of 10,000 times, mechanical life of 20,000 times, all of which have reached the top level in the industry. The 1P10A rated impulse withstand voltage and anti-fouling level in this series are slightly inferior to Schneider, and the operating short-circuit breaking ability and product life are indistinguishable, and the price of 1P starts at 30 yuan, which is slightly more affordable than Schneider Acti9.
 
Although GSH200 has a letter "G" added to the prefix, it still belongs to SH200 series products, but it is a leakage protection switch, which not only has the short-circuit and overload protection function of the air switch, but also has the leakage protection function, which can disconnect the circuit within 0.1 seconds after monitoring the 30mA leakage current to ensure the personal safety of the user. In terms of the number of poles, there are 1P N/2P/4P optional, and the rated current level and performance are basically the same as those of air switches, which are often used as household master switches.
