Founded in 1987, Mastech Huayi is one of the three major multimeter manufacturers in China. Due to its early entry into foreign markets, Mastech multimeters are very common cost-effective products in the North American market. As the main drafting unit of the national standard of the electrical instrumentation industry, Huayi has a good strength in multimeters.
 
In terms of products, Huayi has many entry-level products, such as MY series and MS826X series, which are mostly 1999 counting and manual range products. The MS8268 of automatic range is a good product in the series, with a maximum count of 3999, and the positioning is similar to that of VC97, but it is not a true RMS measurement, and the price is about 150 yuan.
 
In terms of mid-to-high-end products, Huayi's MS8218 has a good reputation, and its positioning is comparable to Unilead UT71E and Shengli VC189A. This multimeter has a count of 50,000 and an accuracy of 0.03%, both of which are industry-leading in terms of two main parameters. In terms of functions, it is also relatively comprehensive, except for no temperature measurement, it basically includes all mainstream measurement gears, and can be connected to a PC to read data. The price of MS8218 is about 1000 yuan, which is slightly lower than similar products of Shengli and Unilead.
