Bluestar is a brand of China National Chemical Corporation, and its antifreeze products are developed by Bluestar in technical cooperation with Germany and Japan, and are listed as key promotion projects by the State Science and Technology Commission during the "Eighth Five-Year Plan" and "Ninth Five-Year Plan" period. Bluestar's antifreeze adopts MS202 combination formula, with ethylene glycol as the base liquid, diluted with softened water, and then added corrosion inhibitors, rust inhibitors, scale inhibitors, defoamers, dyeants, etc. Bluestar antifreeze has a freezing point from -25°C to -40°C, a model every 5°C, a red and green mark is also available at -15°C, and a boiling point of 108°C. The lower the freezing point of Bluestar antifreeze, the higher the price, the lowest price of the blue label, which is 42 yuan per barrel (4Kg) at -25°C, and the price of the red label and the green label are similar, and the price of -25°C is 48 yuan per barrel (4Kg). Blue Label antifreeze seems to be quite cost-effective, but it has to be replaced every year, and it costs more than 200 yuan in 5 years, which is half more expensive than the Great Wall YF series.
