Kemitac is a rare Japanese brand focusing on the production of antifreeze, and its products have maintained the No. 1 market share in Japan for a long time, and it is also very active in various automobile and motorcycle races in Japan, even in high-profile Super GT races.
 
Kemitec antifreeze has more prominent features, one is the use of 5 layers of filtered pure water, the same composition as F1 engine coolant, the specific heat capacity is five times that of ordinary water, the other is KEMITEC's unique M.A.I additives, which can play a better role in protecting the water tank and pipeline elements, and the raw material used by Kemitec is propylene glycol, which is less toxic than ethylene glycol, and the low toxicity makes it more convenient to dispose of waste liquid.
 
Currently, KEMITEC has a total of six coolant products, all of which are PG55 series except for Leman. Among the six products, the EC, HQ, and Leman are for daily driving, while the RC, TA, and GT are more inclined to race on the track. PG55 EC is mixed with 43% propylene glycol mixed with pure water, and added M.A.I additives, with a freezing point of -20°C, suitable for most areas in China, and the price of a 2-liter pack is about 250 yuan. The content of propylene glycol in PG55 HQ is 50%, the freezing point is -30 °C, which can be applied to colder areas, and has good thermal insulation performance, idle or extinguish in a short time, the fluctuation of water temperature will not be too large, and the price of 2 liters is about 270 yuan. The performance of the Leman is similar to that of the PG55 HQ, and although it is aimed at European models, it is actually an IQ tax.
 
The more competitive ones are RC, TA and GT, of which TA uses KEMITEC pure water and cancels the propylene glycol component, which has excellent heat absorption and heat dissipation effect, and the freezing point is 0 °C, while GT adds ethanol (alcohol) on the basis of TA to reduce the freezing point to reach a lower -20 °C, which can cope with lower temperature events. In China, RC is favored by more fans, often used in turbine cars, high-speed NA cars and modified cars, with a propylene glycol content of 55% and a freezing point of -40 °C, which is applicable in almost all areas where there are roads in China. The price of antifreeze for competition is slightly higher than that of several civilian ones, and the 2-liter pack is basically about 350 yuan.
