In the era of film, the streets and alleys of China were Kodak's printing shops. The imaging giant, which invented the digital camera, has not caught up with the trend of the times. In the digital age, Kodak, with thousands of patents in hand, is in decline. After going bankrupt and reorganizing, Kodak launched many products that were called "not doing business", such as mobile phones or drones, but photo printers can be regarded as Kodak's rediscovery of the former business.
Kodak's two sublimation printers have their own characteristics, and the PM-220 is characterized by its small size, which is similar to Zink printers such as HP Xiaoyin and LG Qupai. Unlike the Canon CP1300 sublimation printer, the CP1300 is only nominally portable due to the limitations of the tray and power cord. Thanks to the sublimation technology, the PM-220 prints take longer to save than Zink photos, and the color reproduction is good, but due to the small size of the photos, the detail performance is not good. The price of PM-220 is 600~700 yuan, which is relatively low compared with other portable printers.
The other PD-450 is positioned similarly to the Canon CP1300, but it does not reproduce the details of the photos a little better. The PD-450's color palette is generally warm, and the benefit of this style is that the colors in the photos are more pleasing, but the light colors are not as expressive. This printer does not have a display screen, it needs to be operated through a mobile phone APP, although the product is slightly weaker than Canon CP1300, but Kodak PD-450 is more compact, and the price of 799 yuan is also much cheaper than CP1300.
