How about Warwick Electric Bass brand introduction

Recommended series: Streamer series, Corvette series, Tumb series

Warwick is a German brand of electric bass founded by Hans Peter in 1982, and its products include electric basses, wooden basses, bass speakers and bass strings. Warwick has been loved by Sam River, John Entwistle, Traa Daniels, Ryan Martinie and many more for its high-quality tone and design. Beyond, the well-known Hong Kong rock band, also often uses Warwick electric bass when recording albums.

Unlike other brands of nickel alloy and brass instruments, Warwick's Zhong Qingtong alloy alloy instruments use IFT (Invisible Fretwork Technology) technology, through CNC machine tools and luthiers to reduce the error to 0.01 mm, so that the electric bass has rich overtones, and ensures the intonation of each note and a comfortable playing feel. It can be seen that Warwick maintains the pursuit of precision craftsmanship in the German factory. In addition, the "Non Plus Ultra Pickup Locking Method", developed in 2012, enhances the resonance of the body by seamlessly engaging the pickup with the body through a closed screw system.

Currently, Warwick electric bass has Streamer, Corvette, Thumb, Dolphin, Katana, Vampire, Infinity and more. Generally speaking, adding a double dollar symbol to the suffix of a series refers to the Double Buck; NT stands for Neck-Through, SN stands for Set-Neck, and BO stands for Bolt-On.

The Streamer series dates back to 1984, and the original version of the Necked Piano was similar in design to Spector's NS Basses, and there have been many copyright disputes. Later, the series was patented in terms of bridge and body details, and now it has developed six models, including Stage, Jazzman, and LX. The Warwick Streamer LX is coated with a layer of mercury-like chrome, with a maple body and a Ligui neck for a deep and crisp tone, which was used by Robert Trujillo, the bassist of the band Metallica.

Tumb is a series of all-hardwood pianos, generally available in BO, NT and other models, with a rippling wood grain flowing on the surface of the body made of Bubinga wood, and an Ebony fingerboard for a transparent and bright sound. The Dolphin series is also a hardwood, with a highly asymmetrical body inspired by a diamond pattern, a weighty body, and a dolphin-shaped fretboard inlaid with the historic album "Never mind" by Krist Novoselic of the famous rock band Nirvana.

The Vampire collection is outstanding, with a crescent-shaped notched corner design and a bright red color scheme that highlights the theme of vampires. The Katana series is shaped like a Japanese samurai sword, with a slightly larger body and a sound suitable for slap players. The exterior of the Infinity series has a classical violin flavor and a softer tone.

The brand has factories in Germany, South Korea and China. The German factory is called Warwick, the Korean product is called Warwick Pro Series, and the domestic label is Warwick Rockbass. Because of the different origins, there are differences in wood selection and workmanship, and the electric bass headstock of the German factory performs the best, with the steel seal of Made in Germany engraved on the back, and the price is at the level of 10,000 yuan; The Korean piano was discontinued in the early years, and the production line was moved back to Germany, and the back of the headstock was engraved with Team Built's former Korean piano; The domestically produced Rockbass is the most common in the domestic market, second in quality to the first two, and relatively cheap.

For example, the German-made Warwick Corvette active four-string electric bass, using spherical rosewood and ash wood as the body material, the fingerboard is wenge wood, equipped with active MEC JJ single-coil pickups and active circuits, the timbre can be adjusted in a wide range, suitable for different music styles to play, the price is 15,300 yuan. The domestic Rockbass Corvette standard model is relatively single in the selection of body materials, only ash wood, the fingerboard is ordinary rosewood, with aluminum-nickel-chromium magnet single-coil pickups, the mid-frequency has a certain sense of impact in the timbre, and the price is generally 3850 yuan. For novices who are just getting started, the price of domestic production is relatively high.
