Founded in 1995, Southeast (Fujian) Automobile Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Southeast Motor") is a joint venture automobile enterprise established by Fujian Automobile Industry Group Co., Ltd., China Motor, a subsidiary of Taiwan's Yulon Group, and Mitsubishi Motors of Japan.

Bearing in mind the dream of "Pengqi Southeast Flying World" and adhering to the brand belief of "Quality to the Southeast", Southeast Automobile gives full play to the dual advantages of cross-strait automobile cooperation, integrates and absorbs the advanced management experience of international and Taiwanese Chinese automobiles and the global car-making technology derived from Mitsubishi Motors of Japan, introduces international first-class technology and equipment from Japan and Germany, and forms a modern production process integrating stamping, welding, painting, final assembly, vehicle inspection line, etc., as well as a quality management system with high standards and strict requirements.

At present, Southeast Automobile has two major brands, "Southeast and Mitsubishi", and its product line covers many fields such as sedans, multi-functional passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, minibuses and SUVs, providing a solid foundation for the development of Southeast Motor. Southeast Motor has a series of models such as "Southeast DX7", "Southeast DX3", "Southeast V5 plus", "Southeast V CROSS", "Southeast V3 Lingyue", "Southeast Delica", "Southeast Xiwang", "Mitsubishi Wing Shen", "Mitsubishi Fengdis", "Mitsubishi Lancer", "Mitsubishi Golan", "Mitsubishi Junge" and so on.

Over the past 21 years of operation, while continuing to deepen the technical cooperation of the cross-strait automobile industry, it has also continuously strengthened the integration of international advanced R&D resources, and actively responded to the national policy call to increase independent R&D and innovation. In terms of independent R&D, Southeast Automobile has gradually jumped from the R&D 1.0 era based on product introduction in the early days of its establishment to the R&D 3.0 era based on complete positive independent R&D.

In 2008, the company's first self-developed model V3 Lingyue was launched, which won the favor of the market with its high cost performance and fuel consumption performance, and has accumulated more than 40 million loyal users since its listing. In September 2012, the company's first A-class sedan V5 Lingzhi was launched, filling the product gap in the field of independent research and development in the province. In April 2013, the company's first forward-developed hatchback sedan V6 Lingshi was launched, which continued to improve the product line of the provincial automobile industry in this field. In July 2015, on the basis of years of brand genes and cooperation experience with Mitsubishi Motors, Southeast Motor launched the first luxury urban SUV model, Southeast DX7, which won high recognition from the market. In November 2016, Southeast Automobile launched another powerful national SUV - Southeast DX3, which fully started the process of international product strategy.

Since 2011, Southeast Automobile has actively explored the electric vehicle market, and invested nearly 500 V3 Lingyue battery-swapping pure electric cars in Xinxiang City, Henan Province, for pilot operation, and has been running smoothly for 32 million kilometers so far. In July 2015, Southeast Automobile established a cooperative relationship with Ningde Minyun Group to pilot 100 V5 Lingzhi electric vehicles; After more than a year of market testing, it has won unanimous praise from taxi drivers, and has excellent performance in starting, climbing, durability and reliability, charging, and mileage.

While the company continues to develop, Southeast Motor also actively fulfills its corporate social responsibility.
