Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jianghuai Automobile") is a comprehensive automobile manufacturer integrating R&D, manufacturing, sales and service of commercial vehicles, passenger vehicles and powertrains. The predecessor of the company was Hefei Jianghuai Automobile Factory, which was founded in 1964. In September 1999, it was restructured into a joint-stock enterprise and was subordinate to Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group Co., Ltd. In 2001, it was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange with the stock code 600418.

The company has an annual production capacity of 700,000 vehicles, 500,000 engines and related core components. In 2013, the company sold a total of 495,700 vehicles of various types of automobiles, an increase of 10.46% year-on-year.

International outlook

JAC has been exported to South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and other regions, and has established good cooperative relations with more than 120 countries around the world. In the international market, JAC has gradually formed a pattern of commercial vehicles and passenger cars flying together, light commercial vehicles have maintained the first sales volume of Chinese brands for 13 consecutive years, and the rapid growth rate of passenger cars has continuously won the praise and respect of overseas merchants, which has effectively enhanced the brand image of JAC and Chinese automobile products. JAC vehicle exports in 2013 totaled 58,436 units, reflecting an 8.78% y/y increase. JAC exported 8,578 vehicles in January 2014, ranking sixth in China's automotive industry in January 2014, with exports of light trucks continuing to rank first in China and exports of passenger cars ranking sixth.

New energy

Electric technology platform: In 2002, JAC began to explore the technical route of new energy vehicle industrialization, and successively developed lead-acid version of electric medium bus, weak hybrid BSG, and medium hybrid ISG, after thousands of discussions and verifications, in 2009, it was clearly proposed to "pure electric" as the main direction, and since then the research and development of new energy vehicles has entered the fast lane. From 2010 to 2013, it has created the largest scale of pure electric car demonstration operation in the industry for four consecutive years, and has promoted nearly 6,000 electric vehicles so far, ranking first in China. In the production of the third-generation iEV pure electric vehicle, JAC Motors has preliminarily mastered the vehicle integration and optimization matching technology for the development of new energy vehicles, the development of vehicle control strategies, and the simulation technology of vehicle operating conditions. The vehicle development process of new energy vehicles has been established, and the technical standards and evaluation system of vehicle testing enterprises have been established. The R&D results of the three core technologies of vehicle electronic control, electric drive and battery system have been applied and improved in iEV pure electric vehicles.

Chassis technology

Baostone independent suspension chassis: In 1998, the first independent suspension bus chassis HFC6705KALY in China was produced, which was recognized as a "national key new product", and the products were mainly for high-end official and business reception vehicles, breaking the monopoly of foreign products.

Rear transverse chassis: the first domestic rear transverse step bus chassis, suitable for modification into 7-8 meters of high-end buses, scenic sightseeing buses and other models, convenient for passengers to get on and off, can have the same standing space of 9-10 meters of passenger cars.

Rear single-tire school bus chassis: the first domestic single-tire design, fully in accordance with the latest "special vehicle school bus safety technical conditions" development, can be modified into a 5-meter school bus for young children and primary school students, the width of the car is not more than 1.9 meters, designed for narrow rural roads, and can meet the needs of B license driving.

Front-wheel drive chassis: the first domestic engine front-wheel drive bus chassis, which can be modified into a 6-meter class in the rear door community bus model, to meet the needs of a step, convenient for passengers to get up and down, the engine adopts JAC HFC4DA1 series engine, strong power, low fuel consumption, low noise, the front suspension adopts a mature JAC passenger car suspension system, the product is mature and reliable, and the ride is comfortable.

Rear bus chassis: Asia's largest 6000T press is used for one-time stamping and forming, which ensures the bearing strength of the frame and meets the complex riding environment of buses, and can realize the asymmetry of the left and right frames, meet the needs of two-stage stepping, and is suitable for the modification needs of the majority of urban buses.

Powertrain

The platinum drivetrain composed of a 1.5L TGDI high-performance gasoline engine and a 6DCT dual-clutch automatic transmission is a golden partner that conforms to the "small displacement and long gear ratio", and is also an important power combination in JAC's 12th Five-Year Strategic Plan.

The 1.5TGDI engine realizes the perfect combination of direct injection in the cylinder, supercharged and intercooled DVVT, with engine power of up to 128KW and torque of 251N.m, which can save fuel by up to 20% and reduce CO2 emissions by 15%-20%.

On the basis of digesting and absorbing the existing mature DCT product technology, JAC has successfully developed a 6-speed front-transverse front-wheel drive DCT platform product with completely independent intellectual property rights in combination with its own strategic needs for passenger car development and independent innovation. DCT is a perfect combination of cutting-edge technology in the fields of mechanical, hydraulic and electronic control, shortening the shift time to less than 0.4 seconds, the transmission efficiency reaches 95%, and the fuel consumption is reduced by more than 10% compared with the traditional automatic transmission, making it the most fuel-efficient and controllable automatic transmission.
