Romeo y Julieta is a favorite brand of former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and is well-known in the world. It has a wide variety of varieties, more than 40 sizes, often packaged in aluminum tubes, and many machine sizes. Although it is difficult to avoid mixing cigars due to the large size, some of the cigars under this brand are still of the highest quality, and many are of the highest quality.
The brand's early success owes its early success directly to the tireless efforts of Rodríguez Fernández. When he was manager of the Cabanas tobacco factory in Havana, he was known as "Pepín". Dissatisfied with the cigarette factory's takeover by the American Tobacco, he resigned in 1903 and used his savings to buy a well-known tobacco factory. Since 1875, the factory has been producing cigars under the brand name Romeo y Julieta, which are mainly sold to the Cuban domestic market. But his ambition didn't stop there: to motivate his employees, he split 30 percent of the company's profits among the heads of departments, traveled the world to run promotional activities, and within two years, the number of employees increased to 1,400, and he moved to a larger factory. In order to meet the needs of dignitaries such as kings and governors, he specially designed personalized cigar labels (at one time tobacco factories produced 2,000 different labels). He has always devoted himself to his tobacco business, almost to the point of obsessiveness with his brand. In addition to naming his racehorse Juliet, he also tried to buy the Capulet theater in Verona, Italy, which had staged Shakespeare's plays. Although he couldn't do so, he was allowed to have an exclusive seat under the famous box.
By 1939, he was shining and everyone who watched the show here was able to enjoy a cigar for free. He died in 1954. The famous Romeo y Julieta Churchills are in tube sizes and are well-made and have excellent aromas, but the tube cigars are sometimes fresher and the result is that they are not as well matured as box cigars. The Churchill size with the striking gold label (with the exception of the Cedros range, which has a red label on all sizes) is a very classic flavoured medium-bodied to full-bodied cigar. Corona size, with a dark brown wrapper, is well-structured, but the flavor quality is inconsistent. Cedros deluxe No.1 (Lonsdale size) is darker in color, smooth on the surface, and medium-full-bodied, but there are fewer people who prefer this size. Exhibición No.4 (Hermoso 4) is a creamy wrapper with a rich flavor that is suitable for enjoying after a large meal, and is favored by many cigar connoisseurs. The Cedros deluxe No.2 is one of the best Corona sizes and has a lot of personality. Petit Julietas are also well-made and full-flavour cigars. There isn't much difference between the various sizes of the Churchill, but some people think that the Prince of Wales is milder than its tube cigars. Cigars labelled No.1 Deluxe, No.2 D, No.3 Deluxe should never be confused with those in tubes with the same number without the word "Deluxe", as the latter are machine-made cigars and are of inferior quality. The Cazadores (6.375 inches in length, 44 ring gauge) are handmade, but this series is the cheapest because it is made from unselected tobacco leaves and the cigars are of inconsistent quality. Romeo y Julieta cigars are also produced in Dominica, with a Connecticut wrapper in the Vintage range and a darker Cameroon wrapper in the Standard range, both of which are of good quality and well-made, with the former being particularly mild.
