Lanzhou Yellow River Enterprise Co., Ltd., established in December 1993, is one of the earliest joint-stock enterprises in Gansu Province and the only domestic A-share listed company in Lanzhou. On June 23, 1999, Huanghe shares were listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, with a total share capital of 185.766 million shares.

The company is mainly engaged in the production, processing and sales of beer, beverages, barley, malt and forage, and currently has four Sino-foreign joint venture beer production enterprises, namely Lanzhou Yellow River Jiazhu Beer Co., Ltd., Qinghai Yellow River Jiazhu Beer Co., Ltd., Tianshui Yellow River Jiazhu Beer Co., Ltd., and Jiuquan Western Beer Co., Ltd., as well as Lanzhou Yellow River (Jinchang) Malt Co., Ltd., Lanzhou Yellow River Efficient Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., Lanzhou Yellow River Investment Guarantee Co., Ltd. and other subsidiaries. By the end of 2012, the company had total assets of 1.4 billion yuan, an annual production capacity of 400,000 tons of beer, 20,000 tons of beverages, 120,000 tons of malt and 100,000 tons of forage.

Since its establishment in 1985, Yellow River Beer has become a well-known beer brand in China in just 21 years, with a sales market covering 31 provinces and municipalities, with a strict and meticulous corporate style, breaking conventions and innovating management, relying on the business system of market economy, high-tech quality system and tenacious and hard-working enterprise spirit. In February 2002, the trademark of Yellow River Beer was recognized as a well-known trademark in China by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, becoming the third well-known trademark in the domestic beer industry after Qingdao and Yanjing, and the only well-known trademark in the field of industrial consumer goods in Gansu Province. In 2010, the company was recognized by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce as a "National Trademark Strategy Implementation Demonstration Enterprise".
