Osmanthus duck brand introduction

Osmanthus duck logo

Nanjing Osmanthus Duck (Group) Co., Ltd., Nanjing's famous specialty, green food, set production and processing/wholesale and retail/chain in one of the professional food manufacturers

More than 100 years ago, when Zhang Tongzhi, a literati of the Qing Dynasty, wrote in the "White Gate Recipe" that "in August in Jinling, the saltwater duck is famous, and everyone thinks that there is a fragrance of osmanthus in the meat", I am afraid that I did not expect that this food classic could give birth to the "osmanthus duck" brand.

Pulling the lens of history back to 1966, the state-owned Nanjing pickled vegetables store in Xinjiekou is the birthplace of "osmanthus duck". Subsequently, the osmanthus duck people worked hard to excavate the historical and cultural heritage of Nanjing saltwater duck, and officially registered the "osmanthus" trademark in 1982, leading the first generation of entrepreneurs to open the development of "osmanthus duck".

After the ups and downs of the start-up years, after the merger of the group, the reform of the property rights system and other important changes, today's Nanjing Osmanthus Duck (Group) Co., Ltd., has developed into a modern private enterprise integrating breeding, production and processing, logistics and distribution and chain management, and has been recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture as a "national key leading enterprise of agricultural industrialization".

Based on the development orientation of domestic professional food manufacturers, the group has established 6 subsidiaries and multi-line brands, processing nearly 10 million osmanthus ducks annually. The product has been recognized as "green food" by the state. The marketing network radiates to the Yangtze River Delta region and major cities in China, and has established export business and transnational trade to Hong Kong.
