Beijing Watch Factory was established on June 19, 1958 and is located in Changping, the back garden of Beijing. The factory sits in the north and faces south, with the back of Jundu Mountain and a bird's-eye view of the Wenyu River. Over the past half century, Beijing Watch Factory has infiltrated the culture of the ancient capital, explored the art of watchmaking, challenged the limits of craftsmanship, and formed a corporate culture of "people-oriented, collaborative, realistic and innovative".

Introduction to corporate trademarks and brands
On June 19, 1958, 21 entrepreneurs led by Xie Jingxiu, the former director of the Xuanwu District Public-Private Watch Factory, went to the Second Department of Beijing Institute of Technology to study and develop watches, and established the Beijing Watch Factory Preparatory Office in the Institute of Technology.
In September 1958, the Beijing Watch Factory produced the first batch of 17 first-type watches, named "Beijing" brand.
In 1973, the most influential mechanical watch unified movement in China's watch industry was successfully trial-produced in Beibiao.
In 1979, the "Beijing" brand watch trademark was approved for registration at the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce of China.
In 1996, Beijing Watch successfully developed the first tourbillon watch in Chinese mainland.
In 2004, the "Beijing" brand debuted a limited edition tourbillon gold watch in red gold, which was the first time that a Chinese brand produced and sold a high-end watch.
In 2006, the "Beijing" brand tourbillon platinum diamond watch "Dragon and Phoenix" participated in the Baselworld Watch Show in Switzerland, and in the same year, the watch was collected for 1 million yuan, becoming an unprecedented work of Chinese watches.

In 2008, Beijing Watch Factory successfully developed a tourbillon minute repeater.
In 2009, Beijing Watch Factory successfully developed China's first dual-axis three-dimensional tourbillon watch.
In 2012, Xu Yaonan and Shi Wenli of Beijing Watch Factory were awarded the title of Master of Chinese Mechanical Watch Movement Design in the first China Watch Master Selection of China Watch Association, and Su Wenbin was awarded the Master of Mechanical Watch Movement in China. The three masters are experienced and profound, and their works are ingenious and timeless.
