The JNBY brand was founded in 1994 in Hangzhou, China. As one of the local designer brands in China, JNBY brand has established direct sales companies in Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shenyang in China and Vancouver, Canada in North America, responsible for the regional operation of "JNBY" brand and the sales service of "JNBY" products.

In addition to the direct company, the main mode of operation of the JNBY brand in Chinese mainland is through the development and management of brand distributors. At present, the JNBY brand has developed nearly 200 domestic distributors, covering the first and second tier cities in Chinese mainland, and more than 700 terminal sales stores. With years of brand operation, the JNBY brand has grown into one of the most distinctive and comprehensive clothing brands in China, and has won the recognition and support of consumers.

Since 2004, the JNBY brand began to expand into the international market, and in early 2005, the first overseas JNBY brand store was opened in Moscow, Russia. In 2006, the JNBY brand had 9 stores in Asia and Europe, and by the end of 2007 the number had risen to 12 and successfully entered the Japanese market. Since 2008, the JNBY brand has upgraded and adjusted its overseas stores, and the number of overseas stores has reached 41, which are distributed in more than a dozen countries such as Japan, Singapore, Canada, Thailand, Georgia, and South Korea.

Among them, in 2009, the JNBY brand showroom was established in Paris, France, in May 2010, a store was opened in the Soho District, New York, USA, and a store was opened in Barcelona, Spain at the end of 2010. Since July 2011, the temporary store of JNBY brand Pop-up Store has been stationed in Galeries Lafayette, a well-known fashion store in Paris, bringing new opportunities for JNBY's development in the French market. At the end of 2011, the JNBY brand, together with famous domestic brands such as Haier, Lenovo, Huawei, Li Ning and Herborist, was named by Forbes (Forbeschina.com) as one of the six most promising Chinese brands to achieve internationalization, and was called the leader of Chinese women's clothing brands to enter the global market.

In October 2012, the JNBY brand participated in Tokyo Fashion Week for the first time, and released the 2013 spring/summer ready-to-wear collection at the main venue, which received great attention and appreciation from the Japanese media and industry insiders, which laid a new opportunity for the JNBY brand to enter the international market.
