Lion Pencil has always played a leading role in the field of stationery and art supplies in Taiwan. For more than 60 years, Lion Pencil has provided local stationery and art products, accompanied by the growth of the Taiwanese people, and is committed to the research and development and production of export products, so that the expansion of export business has also become one of the forces of Taiwan's economic miracle after the war.
Lion Pencil Factory was founded in 1956, and in the early days of its establishment, it was engaged in stationery sales in Taiwan.
Under the leadership of the first Chairman Mr. Li Amu and the second Chairman Mr. Zhang Liangliang, the product range of Lion has gradually increased and entered the international market.
Under the leadership of Chairman Li Yiwen, Lion Pencil Factory passed ISO 9002 certification in 1997, upgraded to ISO 9001:2000 in 2000, and passed ISO 9001:2008 latest version certification in 2009.
The products comply with the American ASTM-D4236&F963, the European EN-71 standard and RoHS testing. In 2011, Lion Oily Fine Character Bizarre Pen NO.600 (black) passed the British Standards Institution (BSI) carbon footprint verification certification.
In 2012, it passed the FSC certification, and made pencils and colored pencils from the original wood of sustainable forests.
