Youdao is a subsidiary of NetEase that uses big data technology to provide mobile Internet applications. Starting from search products and technologies, Youdao has deep technical accumulation in the fields of large-scale data storage and computing, and on this basis, it has derived three core business directions: language translation applications and services, personal cloud applications and e-commerce shopping guide services. At present, NetEase Youdao has launched user products such as Youdao Dictionary, Youdao Oral Master, Youdao School, Youdao Cloud Notes, Youdao Cloud Collaboration, Huihui.com, Huihui Shopping Assistant, and commercial products such as Youdao Easy Investment and Youdao Smart Selection.

Youdao Dictionary is the world's first all-round free language translation software based on search engine technology produced by NetEase Youdao, providing high-quality and smooth word search and translation services for learners of all ages. In December 2007, the desktop version of Youdao Dictionary was officially launched, and in January 2009, the first mobile version of Youdao Dictionary was launched, and now the whole platform has been covered. As of April 2015, NetEase Youdao Dictionary (desktop version and mobile version) has more than 500 million users, with a market share of 70%.

In June 2011, Youdao launched Youdao Note 1.0 Beta, which aims to help users establish a cloud note space that can be easily accessed and securely stored with cloud storage technology, and solve the problem of cross-platform and cross-location management of personal data and information. On December 6, 2011, Youdao Notes was upgraded to the official version and renamed as "Youdao Cloud Notes". Released in November 2014, Youdao Cloud Collaboration is a necessary collaboration tool for efficient teams, which allows multiple people to share team information, edit and modify documents collaboratively, and provide historical version comparisons to make work more convenient.
