Xiwang Special Steel Co., Ltd. (Xiwang Special Steel or the Company, together with its subsidiaries, the Group) is a leading electric arc furnace steelmaking producer located in Shandong Province, the People's Republic of China.

The Group's business was established in 2003. The Company has been listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange since February 23, 2012. As a manufacturer of electric arc furnace steelmaking, the company has an integrated production process from steelmaking to secondary metallurgy, continuous casting and rolling. The company's products include general steel, which is mainly used in construction and infrastructure projects, and special steel, which is used in the automotive, boiler and pipe, and machinery and equipment industries.

The Group has two sets of production processes: (1) steel production through electric arc furnaces using scrap steel as raw materials; (2) Iron ore is converted into sintered material in a sintering furnace and then produced by a blast furnace, and then steel is made from a converter. We make production more flexible by using different raw materials to control costs and product mixes.

At present, the Group's total designed annual steelmaking capacity of electric arc furnaces and converters is approximately 3.3 million tonnes, while the total designed annual production capacity of rolling lines is 3 million tonnes. The total designed annual production capacity of blast furnace and sintering furnace is 2.1 million tons and 3.7 million tons respectively.
