On January 25, 2017, Anshan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. completed the registration of industrial and commercial change of the company's system reform, and the company name was officially changed to Anshan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd.
Anshan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. is the first large-scale iron and steel complex to resume construction in New China and an earlier steel production base, and is known as "the cradle of China's iron and steel industry" and "the eldest son of the iron and steel industry of the Republic".
In May 2010, with the approval of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, Anshan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. and Pangang Group Co., Ltd. were jointly reorganized into Anshan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Anshan Iron and Steel Group). Since then, Anshan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Anshan Iron and Steel) has become a regional subsidiary of Anshan Iron and Steel Group.
Anshan Iron and Steel Production Base is located in Anshan City, Liaoning Province, with a main plant area of about 24 square kilometers, east of the Zhongchang Railway, west of Shenyang-Dalian Expressway, south of Anshan City Anqian West Road, north of Anshan City Shahe, Anshan Iron and Steel Mining Company has 7 large iron mines in Anshan and Liaoyang Gongchangling area.
At present, Anshan Iron & Steel has formed a large-scale iron and steel enterprise group composed of comprehensive supporting facilities from sintering, pelletizing, ironmaking, steelmaking to steel rolling, as well as auxiliary units such as coking, refractory, power, transportation, and technology research and development. It has formed a complete product series from hot-rolled plate, cold-rolled plate to galvanized sheet, color-coated plate, cold-rolled silicon steel, heavy rail, seamless steel pipe, profile, building materials and so on. It has fully passed the ISO9002 quality system certification, the marine steel has passed the certification of 9 national classification societies, the oil pipe has passed the API certification, the building materials have obtained the Lloyd's Register CE mark certification, and the steel body has passed the ISO14000 environmental management system certification and OSHMS occupational safety and health management system certification. The comprehensive competitiveness of the enterprise has entered the ranks of international advanced enterprises, and its international influence has been significantly enhanced. The main production technology and technical equipment have reached the international advanced level. At present, Anshan Iron and Steel has an annual output of 25 million tons of iron, steel and steel. At present, Anshan Iron and Steel has production bases such as Anshan Headquarters, Bayuquan New Area, and Chaoyang Iron and Steel.
