As the only designated reception robot at the conference site, MagicBot and MagicDog brought a high-tech and futuristic opening performance, and interacted with the guests and demonstrated their capabilities in the conference exhibition area.
Founded in January 2024, Magic Atom is a robotics startup incubated by the Dreame Technology ecosystem, focusing on the R&D and application of robotics and artificial intelligence technologies. The robot products of Magic Atom Company include general-purpose humanoid robots, bionic quadruped robots, etc., relying on the systematic ability of Dreame Technology Ecological Construction, it has great advantages at the level of commercialization, and will cover multiple scenarios such as industry, family, and business in the future.
According to the on-site staff, Magic Atom has a comprehensive technical matrix and continuous R&D capabilities of the robot "brain, cerebellum and heart", based on AI's R&D empowerment in the fields of data training, perception and navigation, precision operation, etc., to accelerate the transformation from laboratory to commercial application, and finally land in more real-world scenarios. In the previous video officially released by Magic Atom, the humanoid robot MagicBot has been stationed in the factory production line for a number of job training. In the video, multiple MagicBot humanoid robots are performing product inspection, material handling, parts picking and place, scanning codes and warehousing, etc., and have achieved small-scale cooperation with each other. The anthropomorphic characteristics of MagicBot make it more adaptable to complex environments, especially suitable for 3C, home appliances and other factories that need to switch production lines frequently.
Also in the industrial scene, Magic Atom has also reached a cooperation with Foton Cummins, a giant in the power equipment industry, to jointly promote the transformation of production lines to automation and intelligence.
At the level of home scenarios, Magic Atom recently signed a contract with Tianyi Digital Life Company, a subsidiary of China Telecom, to become a robot ecological partner of China Telecom's "Beautiful Home Robot Ecological Co-construction Plan", and the two sides will deepen cooperation, accelerate the innovation and development and application of home service robot technology, and tap the potential of robot products in home service scenarios.

Recently, MagicLab, an embodied intelligent robot company, completed an angel round of financing of 150 million yuan, which was led by Chase Venture Capital and followed by Yipu Fund. Magic Atom said that after the completion of this round of financing, the company will expand talent recruitment, continue to increase the research and development of embodied intelligence core technologies, humanoid robots, and accelerate the pace of mass production, expand the landing and commercialization of industrial and commercial scenarios.

In the first quarter of 2025, Magic Atom will officially release a new generation of MagicBot humanoid robot products. The company expects to deliver hundreds of production versions of the MagicBot in 2025 and 1,000 units in 2026.

Humanoid robots have the characteristics of high degree of freedom and human-like operation, and have a higher degree of adaptability to complex environments, especially suitable for 3C, home appliances and other factories that need to switch production lines frequently, which can help the manufacturing industry improve the flexibility of production lines, reduce factory deployment costs, and flexibly respond to market changes.
 
On December 2, Magic Atom released a video showing the progress of its humanoid robot MagicBot stationed in the factory production line to carry out training operations. In the future, Magic Atom will continue to improve the robot's ability to perform complex tasks, in order to meet the requirements of "skilled workers" as soon as possible.
 
In addition, Magic Atom is also exploring the implementation in the field of business services. Magic Atom has deployed MagicBot humanoid robots and quadruped robots in some home appliance retail stores to conduct business service training such as welcoming guests and shopping guides.

The self-developed MagicNet multi-machine collaboration system improves the maturity of the B-end application of humanoid robots
 
Since its establishment, Magic Atom has always dug deep into product needs for real application scenarios, and in the factory operation video previously shown, multiple MagicBot humanoid robots are on the assembly line for product inspection, material handling, parts grabbing, code scanning operations and other operation training, and realize multi-machine collaboration in some scenarios.
 
Wu Changzheng said that while continuously improving the intelligence level of humanoid robot ontology, Magic Atom also pays attention to building multi-robot collaboration capabilities.
 
Magic Atom is building the MagicNet multi-machine collaboration system, in order to realize the rapid deployment and rapid management of multiple humanoid robots, and improve the efficiency of collaboration. Taking the factory scene as an example, MagicNet can collect and organize the environmental perception data of multiple humanoid robots, realize the sharing of multi-scene maps, and carry out task planning and scheduling with the best production efficiency. MagicNet will also support customized development for specific stations in the factory.
 
MagicNet will also consider the fault-tolerant mechanism of multi-machine collaboration, and if the humanoid robot fails, there will also be corresponding rules to command other robots to take over or reassign tasks. MagicNet will also support wireless access to the communication between the factory's MES system and automation equipment, and realize the functional collaboration and data sharing between the humanoid robot and the factory's existing machinery and equipment and MES system.
 
At present, Magic Atom has opened up the whole industrial chain of humanoid robots such as core software and hardware self-development, supply chain management and manufacturing, and scene landing applications, and humanoid robot products are about to achieve large-scale mass production.
