Fourier is an industry-leading general-purpose robotics company, covering the core business of humanoid robots and intelligent rehabilitation solutions.
Shanghai Fourier Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., founded in 2015, is a well-known brand in the humanoid (bionic) robot industry, and a technology-based enterprise committed to providing a variety of comprehensive solutions for intelligent robots through intelligent technology. Fourier Intelligence has carried out R&D and production layout in many cities around the world, has a number of joint laboratories and hundreds of patent rights, and has built a diversified intelligent robot technology platform, which is mainly used in multiple ecological scenarios such as health and education.
Since its establishment in 2015, Fourier has been committed to developing robot products that are both agile and intelligent.
Our robots are widely used in real-world scenarios such as medical rehabilitation and academic research. It has provided support and services to more than 2,000 institutions and hospitals in more than 40 countries and regions around the world.
In 2023, Fourier launched its first humanoid robot, the GR-1, and was the first in the world to achieve mass production and sale.
The birth of GR-1 is the result of Fourier's years of technology accumulation, and it is also a leap forward in the technical level and commercialization process of embodied AI, marking that we can fulfill the promise of "empowering life with robotics technology" in a wider range of application fields.
In 2024, a new generation of general-purpose humanoid robot GR-2 will be released
Fourier GR-2
More flexible, more powerful, more open
A new milestone for the GRx series
Based on the application data collected during the actual implementation of GR-1 in the past year and customer feedback, GR-2 has brought remarkable innovations and improvements in key aspects such as hardware design, development framework, and commercialization, to meet the needs of developers in various fields and diverse application scenarios
Efficient structural design
The exterior of the GR-2 follows the original bionic design language, further optimizing the proportions of the whole body. The wiring design in the whole machine improves the overall aesthetics, and the design is simplified and modular. The fully tandem structure optimizes the control strategy and performance, and is easy to deploy and maintain the control algorithm.
Height 175 cm
Weight 63 kg
The battery lasts 2 hours
Flexible upper limb manipulation
The GR-2 is equipped with a new generation of 12 degrees of freedom dexterous hands, which can accurately grasp objects of different shapes and materials. At the same time, it supports a variety of teaching methods, collects more real training data, and bridges the gap between simulation and reality.
Powerful motion control
The new version of the actuator FSA 2.0 provides stronger power and more accurate operation control for the GR-2, adapts to the bionic form of human joint movement, and effectively reduces hardware costs.
53 degrees of freedom for the whole body
Maximum joint torque
380N.m
Gait walking speed 5 km / h
Innovation-driven, independent research and development
Fourier always adheres to independent research and development in core components and chooses the best technical path.
Expand the development of robots' motion flexibility, control accuracy, and environmental perception capabilities.
12 degrees of freedom dexterous hands
Real-time perception of gripping strength, adjust gripping strategy, to achieve accurate force control grip on objects of different shapes, materials, and weights.
12 one-handed degrees of freedom
6 array tactile sensors
FSA 2.0 actuators
A full range of 7 different models of human-shaped FSA actuators, with a dual encoder system to double the accuracy. Adapt to the motion bionic form of the main joints of the human body to achieve high dynamic response, more flexibility and impact resistance.
Fourier Toolkit
Based on mainstream programming languages, Fourier has formed a set of development interface solutions to support the development of algorithm programs in the server-client model. By encapsulating a series of APIs, it integrates algorithm modules such as machine vision, path planning, and force control feedback. Lower the threshold for development, simplify the process, and improve efficiency.
The platform supports open-source frameworks such as NVIDIA Isaac Lab, ROS, Mujoco, and Webots, providing developers with detailed documentation resources and responsive technical support.
Fourier is working with a number of companies and research institutes to explore the possibilities of humanoid robots in various fields. At present, the GRx series robots have been used in experimental applications in reception, scientific research and education, industrial manufacturing, rehabilitation and other scenarios.
