Development History:
From 2013 to 2016, Wang Xingxing developed the XDog, a full-degree-of-freedom, high-performance quadruped robot driven by a low-cost external rotor brushless motor. On August 26, 2016, Wang Xingxing resigned to start a business and founded Hangzhou Yushu Technology Co., Ltd. through angel investment.
In 2017, the quadruped robot Laikago reconstructed by Unitree came out (taken from the space dog Laika), which independently developed the motor, motor drive and main control, the mechanical structure of the whole machine and a newly reconstructed control system according to the performance requirements of size, body shape, power performance and other performance requirements.
In 2019, Unitree released the Aliengo quadruped robot, which is positioned as a functional quadruped robot in the industry, with a newly designed power system, lighter and more integrated, and an integrated body design.
