The name Astribot is derived from the old Latin proverb "Ad astra per aspera", which means "through the arduous journey to reach the stardust", which represents the company's long-term plan and strong commitment to the development and popularization of AI robotics technology. The company was established in December 2022 and is headquartered in Shenzhen.

Astribot S1
S1, an embodied humanoid robot with all-round operation, relies on the AI-oriented (Design for AI) integrated system architecture independently developed by Stardust Intelligence, and strongly couples "AI intelligence" with "strongest operation", so that the robot is highly human-like and can learn, think and work like a human.
In terms of hardware, the S1's unique rigid-flexible coupling transmission mechanism design monitors the transmission of force in real time through sensors, no longer relying on trajectory estimation, but like a human, it accurately controls the output of the control force through the size of the perceived force, which significantly improves the operation accuracy.
In April 2024, in the first technology demonstration, the S1 performed a number of complex tasks such as ironing clothes, sorting items, stir-frying, vacuuming and cleaning, and competing cup stacking, which attracted widespread attention in the industry.
