Founded in 1998, a well-known public transport airline, jointly funded by HNA Group and BTG Group, with its base airport at Beijing Capital International Airport, is an enterprise specializing in providing domestic and foreign air passenger and cargo transportation business

Beijing Capital Airlines Co., Ltd., jointly funded by HNA Group and Beijing BTG Group in 2010, is registered and headquartered in Beijing, the capital of China, and has operating bases in Shenyang, Xi'an, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Lijiang, Haikou and Sanya, and currently has 72 Airbus aircraft, making it one of the youngest and largest Airbus fleets in China. In August 2015, it officially became a member of the world's top 500 companies. In December 2016, after being listed on the "China's Most Valuable Brand List" in June, the turnover exceeded 10 billion yuan for the first time, and Capital Airlines officially became one of the 10 billion aviation enterprises.

Fleet of public transport operations

Up to now, there are 72 Airbus series aircraft in the public transport business of Capital Airlines, including 20 Airbus A319 aircraft, 34 Airbus A320 aircraft, 11 Airbus A321 aircraft and 7 Airbus A330 aircraft, which is the youngest fleet and one of the largest Airbus operating fleets in China.

By the end of 2016, Capital Airlines had opened more than 200 domestic and foreign routes, including 45 international routes, involving 22 overseas destinations in 12 countries.

Since its establishment, the operation scope of Capital Airlines has been continuously expanded and extended, and in order to establish a high-quality route network, it has built a regional route network structure with Beijing, Guangzhou, Sanya and Xi'an as the center and radiating the surrounding areas, radiating the first and second tier business and tourist cities across the country.

International routes

Capital Airlines is committed to opening up international tourism routes, and plans to take Beijing, Xi'an, Hangzhou and Chengdu in China as the core, and continue to open up international routes connecting tourist resorts in East Asia, Southeast Asia, Europe and the United States. In 2016, Capital Airlines opened a total of 14 new international routes, and successfully opened the first North American route (Hangzhou = Qingdao = Vancouver) and Australia route (Shenyang = Qingdao = Melbourne), opening up a new situation in the layout of the international route network. In 2017, Capital Airlines plans to open new international routes such as Beijing=Lisbon, Beijing=Qingdao=Sydney, Qingdao=Moscow, Qingdao=London, Hangzhou=Saipan, etc., to further improve the layout of the international route network. In the future, Capital Airlines will take advantage of China's outbound tourism market to develop more tourism products, further improve Capital Airlines' domestic and overseas route network, and promote the development of cultural exchanges at home and abroad.

Capital Airlines has always implemented the concept of "safety is the lifeline and high-voltage line", and continued to strengthen the construction of safety concept system, team system, legal system and responsibility system to maintain safe and stable operation.

On December 6, 2016, Capital Airlines and the Civil Aviation Pilots Association of China established the North China Branch to gather civil aviation talents and promote the development of civil aviation safety.

In May 2016, it obtained the membership certificate of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and officially became a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

In December 2015, Capital Airlines passed the first IOSA audit with "zero non-conformities".
