SkyTeam member China Southern Airlines Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as China Southern Airlines), headquartered in Guangzhou, with a blue vertical tail inlaid with red kapok as the company logo, is the airline with the largest number of transport aircraft, the most developed route network and the largest annual passenger volume in China. At present, China Southern Airlines operates more than 700 passenger and cargo transport aircraft, ranking first in Asia and fourth in the world in terms of fleet size (data source: IATA), and is the first airline in the world to operate both Airbus A380 and Boeing 787.

It transports more than 115 million passengers annually

In 2016, China Southern Airlines carried 115 million passengers, ranking first in Asia and fourth in the world (data source: IATA), ranking first among domestic airlines for 38 consecutive years. As of December 31, 2016, China Southern Airlines has accumulated 17.14 million hours of safe flights, ensured 206 months of flight safety and 271 months of air defense safety (excluding Xiamen Airlines), and safely transported more than 1 billion passengers. On September 28, 2012, China Southern Airlines was awarded the "Diamond Award for Flight Safety", the highest award for flight safety issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, becoming the airline with the highest safety star rating and the best safety performance in China.

SKYTRAX 4-STAR AIRLINE

Adhering to the commitment of "customer first", China Southern Airlines has been awarded the honor of "Best Airline in China" by many organizations. IN 2011, CHINA SOUTHERN AIRLINE WAS AWARDED THE TITLE OF "SKYTRAX FOUR-STAR AIRLINE" BY SKYTRAX, AN INTERNATIONAL AIR SERVICE CERTIFICATION AUTHORITY.

In 2012 and 2013, it was consecutively rated as one of the top 50 "Most Admired Chinese Companies" by Fortune (Chinese Edition).
