Cathay Pacific Airways Limited, founded in 1985 and headquartered in Hong Kong, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cathay Pacific Airways and a Hong Kong-based international airline known for providing quality air services

In July 1985, a Boeing 737-200A flew from Hong Kong International Airport to Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. The flight was the inaugural flight of Dragonair Limited and marked a new page in Hong Kong's aviation history. Dragonair Limited has since developed into a Hong Kong-based international airline and is now a member of the Cathay Pacific Group.

Cathay Dragon Airlines, a member of the oneworld affiliate, is a member of the Cathay Pacific Group and is an international airline based in Hong Kong. Established in 1985, Cathay Dragon provides passenger and cargo services using 19 Airbus A330-300 aircraft, eight Airbus A321 aircraft and 15 Airbus A320 aircraft. Cathay Dragon's network covers 53 destinations in the Asia-Pacific region, 23 of which are located in Chinese mainland.
