Seven One (China) Investment Co., Ltd., 7-Eleven is one of the top ten brands of convenience stores, founded in 1927 in the United States, headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Japan, a world-famous chain of convenience stores

7-Eleven is a well-known convenience store chain in Japan with its headquarters in Chiyoda-ku. 7-Eleven has become the international common language of convenience stores, and stores can be found in the United States, Japan, Chinese mainland, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Sweden, Mexico, Panama, Norway, Canada, Australia, Indonesia and other countries and regions. At present, there are more than 30,000 stores in the world, making it the largest chain store system in the world.

7-Eleven convenience stores were born in the United States, formerly known as the "Southern Continent Ice Company", which was founded in 1927. At that time, refrigerators were not widely available, and ice cubes for refrigeration became an indispensable necessity in daily life. John Jeffson Goering, who sells ice at the South Continent Ice Company, was so concerned about improving customer service that he made the decision to open the shop 16 hours a day during the summer months, a service that was well received by the local residents. Not only that, but by carefully investigating the purchase intentions and needs of local residents, Goering found that the local residents not only wanted him to sell ice, but also other daily necessities in a timely manner. For example: milk, eggs, bread, etc. To this end, Goering proposed that the Southern Continent Company provide more convenience products for the stores it was responsible for, and the company agreed.

In this way, Nandasu Ice Company not only sold ice, but also began to sell milk and eggs, creating a new business field and profit growth point, and was known as the germ of convenience stores in the United States. Originally, the store was called a "totem store", and the totem pole placed next to the store became the symbol of the convenience store. Since the store is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., in 1946 the Southern Continent Company officially changed the name of the totem store to 7-Eleven, thus truly opening the prelude to the convenience store era. At present, 7-Eleven stores are located in 18 countries and regions around the world.

Later, 7-Eleven was introduced to Japan in 1974 by Japanese retailer Ito-Yokado, and since 1975 it has been open 24 hours a day. Up to now, stores have spread all over the United States, Japan, China, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and other countries and regions.
