The history of our firm dates back to January 1957. At that time, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), as a private trade promotion organization, set up a trademark agency to handle trademark-related matters in China on behalf of foreign enterprises. Until the mid-eighties of the last century, the trademark agency has been the only trademark agency in China. In the early 80s of the last century, with the establishment of China's patent system, CCPIT set up a patent agency. The patent agency is the first foreign-related agency authorized by the government in China. In 1993, the two agencies merged to form the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Patent and Trademark Office.
