Founded in 1963 in the United States, its food packaging polyethylene film has been internationally renowned, mainly engaged in the research and development/production/sales of plastic wrap/sealing bags/aluminum foil and other products

The Canon brand originated from CEO David Darroch's 1963 introduction in the United States of America, "Canon cling film", a polyethylene film used as food packaging. Douglas G. Taylor was transferred from the Union Carbide plant in Pittsburgh that same year to lead Canon's branded projects. Mr. Taylor led the sales and marketing of Canon's products until his retirement from Union Carbide in 1985, after which Canon was sold to the First Brand. Douglas G. Taylor died at Hilton Head on August 13, 1996. The brand originated from Union Carbide Corporation, but was spun off to the first brand company in the United States in 1985. In 1998 Clorox acquired First Brands. In 2002, Clorox allowed Procter & Gamble to buy a 10 percent stake in Canon products and have been working together for the brand ever since. Three years later, Procter & Gamble exercised its own privilege under this agreement to increase ownership by 20%.

IN 1999, CLOROX ACQUIRED THE CANON BRAND, INFUSING CANON WITH CRORIX'S VALUES AND CORPORATE CULTURE. In 2001, Clorox (Guangzhou) Enterprise Management Co., Ltd. (formerly Guangzhou Jialiang Chemical Co., Ltd.) became the headquarters of CLOROX in China, responsible for Canon's corporate business. Canon, one of the world's best-selling fresh food brands, has a broad market prospect in China, leading sales in Hong Kong and South China for many years. Canon's fresh-keeping products are made of food-grade materials, which are certified by QS in China and are more in line with the standards of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Canon continues to develop new products to meet consumer needs, and now has a series of plastic wraps, plastic bags, sealed bags, aluminum foil, garbage bags, etc. in China, and will continue to develop in line with CLOROX's mission of "We make life better every day".
